Rules
Welcome back to the NHC Ireland National Homebrew Competition!
After a successful 2024 Championship, this year we are bringing it back to Dublin! The National Homebrew Competition of Ireland will be held at Rascals Brewing Company, Dublin.
We welcome all styles to the competition, they will be judged in accordance with BJCP competition rules.
- Non-member entry price: €12.50
- Member entry price: €10.00
- Members can access the password for the discount on the NHC forum.
Please note that Paypal takes a small fee with the payment.
The deadlines are as follows:
- Entry Deadline: 16 March 2025
- Drop off/shipping deadline: 20 March 2025
Entry Acceptance Rules
Number of Bottles Required Per Entry: 2
This year we will be accepting cans, however, entries must adhere to the following guidelines
- Bottles (brown or green. No clear glass or plastic bottles accepted)
- 500ml, 375ml & 330ml - please provide 2 x bottles
- Cans:
- 330ml & 440ml - please provide 2 x cans
- Pint bottles will not be accepted
- No distinguishing markings on bottles or caps (incl. embossing, labels, or decorative caps)
- Clean and free of labels or residue
- Entry labels affixed by rubber band - to each bottle
Please do not glue or tape the labels onto your bottles - we will disqualify them.
We will also disqualify any entries that do not stick to the rules. This is for the sake of anonymity as well as bottle sorting volunteers time and effort.
